Malayalee association asks Meghalaya for skilled manpower to rebuild Kerala

HP NEWS SERVICE Shillong, Aug 22: An organisation of people from Kerala settled in different parts of the country on Wednesday has said that it will not celebrate Onam this year in view of the worst ever flood that hit the state since 1924. “We have decided to cancel Onam celebrations on September 9 and instead donate the money that he have raised to the Chief Minister Disaster Relief Fund,” president of the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA), Meghalaya State Unit, G Pradeep Pillai said.
