Shillong, Sep 15: Vice-President of the Khun Hynñiewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM), Thomas Passah, has extended a helping hand to 74 children living at an orphanage in Pynursla by providing them with essential items.
Passah visited the North East India Mission Association (NEIMA) orphanage yesterday.
“I have conveyed my desire to help the children staying here after there was news about the extreme hardship these children are facing during the presence of the Covid-19 situation,” he said. “I had asked the management to let me know what things the children need the most at the home and only then did we visit the home with all the essentials, like bed sheets, bedcovers and pillows.”
He also extended his appreciation to the work of NEIMA in the care of these children.
